The Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center is an excellent starting point for visitors to the glacier. It offers exhibits, films, and ranger-led programs, as well as a bookstore and gift shop. The center also provides a stunning view of the glacier, which is visible from the observation deck.
The Mendenhall Glacier Ice Caves are a popular attraction for visitors to the glacier. They are located at the base of the glacier and can be accessed by hiking on the ice. The caves are illuminated by the blue light that filters through the ice, creating a surreal and otherworldly atmosphere.
