History

The Bungle Bungle Range is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is located in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia. The range was formed over 350 million years ago and was first discovered by non-Indigenous people in the mid-1980s. The traditional owners of the land, the Kitja people, have been living in the area for over 20,000 years and have a deep spiritual connection to the range.
